i must admit there's a sociable side in me. it only goes out when i am with very very comfortable people. last weekend, i was planning a party for former colleagues just for the reason that we could get together. this saturday, i am planning another party for my two housemates. it's going to be a bridal shower this time.
it's not easy to plan a party. you have to plan for the food and drinks. you have to make sure if someone would actually show up, that includes calling people one by one. you have to make sure that everyone's going to have fun as well, and will enjoy the food that you prepared.
a simple get-together is quite okay cause the only highlight would be the food. but for a bridal shower, there's the invites, the games, the surprises, the food, the drinks and the male-stripper.. hehehehe kidding! i would have wanted to hire my dear friend punyal who's a professional pole dancer. you see, every chance i get to hold that pole in the train, i always get reminded of him.. hehehe i've never seen him dance though, but he said he's quite good (peace punyal!!). however, he said he's already retired. he's busy studying his masters in computer science (not pole dancing) right now. so i'm skipping the male stripper part unless someone else wants to volunteer. anyone??
