settled

after a month, i finally found a place to settle in. my friends and i just got ourselves a condo-apartment that we have leased for two years. but that's not by choice. i didn't realize that there's so much to consider when picking a condo unit here. everything depends what your agent could get you. sometimes, they pressure you for quick decisions when there's so much to consider. and after all the waiting and choosing, you end up settling for something not what you really want, but is the right one for the moment. most specially when you badly need one at that moment. besides, we didn't have that much luxury to choose for there's always an equivalent price for the things that you always want/wish to have. so it's either you raise your stakes or settle.

and that's we did. we settled. but somehow, after making our new place as cozy as we can get, we indeed got ourselves "settled". and we're happy. well, happiness, after all, doesn't mean acquiring fancy things. happiness is being contented with what you have. and that's how we felt with our new place. :)

i guess i could finally see myself living here for some time after having moved to a place of my own now. but of course, it won't be the marriage kind of settling down. oh, DEFINITELY not! hmm.. i just don't know yet for how long i intend to stay here. that is just too soon to tell.
